As a member of the Get Organized Board at iVillage, That Yank has a major challenge ahead of her: to fit 30000 of household effects into a new house. Some of these items have been in storage for over ten years; half are from shipments home from England, China and Saudi Arabia. Needless to say, unpacking and finding a "home" for each item is a major task, and we are going to have to purge, despite the fact that this new house is much larger than any other place we have lived!



I joined the Get Organized 2004 Challenge and, by the end of that six weeks, I had made some progress, but, 5 years later, there are still quite a few boxes in the basement and my office is still a disaster area!
